Used Golf Carts for Sale in Ocala, FL
Around Ocala a cart earns its keep on property — running the fence line, hauling feed, moving between barns and out to the gate. We rebuild carts for that kind of work and put it in writing.
Out here, a cart is equipment
Ocala isn’t a cart-path town. Around here a cart spends its life on grass, sand and washboard two-track, hauling something heavier than a set of clubs. That’s a completely different job from cruising a paved village loop — and it wears out completely different parts.
A cart that’s worked acreage takes its abuse in the suspension, the bushings, the tires and the underside. Pavement carts don’t. So when a cart comes into our shop we go looking for the damage that matches the life it actually had, not the damage the listing photos suggest. Whatever we replace gets written on a signed build sheet that goes home with the cart.
Ground clearance and tires
Sand, pasture and uneven ground ask a lot more of tires and suspension than asphalt does. If you’re running property, we’ll set the cart up with the tires and lift that actually suit your ground.
Seats and load
Four passengers, or two plus room for feed, tools and a dog. Tell us what you’re actually carrying and we’ll steer you to the right configuration rather than the one that happens to be on the floor.
Gas or lithium on acreage
Gas makes sense when the barn has no outlet and the runs are long. Lithium makes sense when you can charge where you park and want something quiet around animals. Both are legitimate here.
What we check before it’s listed
The Ideal 40 is our 40-point rebuild and inspection. Nothing goes on the floor until it passes all forty points.
- Batteries load-tested or replaced
- Full charging-system check
- Brakes and steering rebuilt
- Suspension, tires and wheels verified
- Lights, wiring and signals working
- Road-tested before it’s listed
- Signed build sheet included
Why buy from a shop, not a listing
A cart bought off a classified ad comes with no history and nowhere to go when the batteries turn out to be four years old. We rebuild every cart ourselves, document it, and stand behind it — and the person who worked on it is the one who picks up the phone.
Trading up? We’ll buy your current cart outright, running or not, so you’re not left trying to sell it yourself.
On the lot right now
One of each — when a cart sells, it’s gone. Every listing below is one specific cart with its own photos, specs and build sheet.

Delivery to Ocala and Marion County
Tell us the ground
Pasture, sand, gravel drive, or mostly pavement? What you drive on decides the tires, the lift and honestly which carts we’d even show you.
Come drive it
Book a time and drive the cart yourself. We’ll go through the Ideal 40 build sheet and show you exactly what we replaced.
We’ll run it out
Trailer it yourself or let us deliver to the property. Want different tires, seats or a lift first? We’ll do that before it goes out.
Golf carts in Ocala — FAQs
Do you deliver golf carts to Ocala?
Yes. We deliver to Ocala and throughout Marion County. Our shop is in Summerfield, a straight run down US-441 through Belleview, so getting a cart out to you is routine. Call with your location and the cart you’re interested in.
Which is better on a farm or acreage — gas or lithium?
It comes down to charging access and how far you run. Gas is the simpler answer when the barn has no convenient outlet, or when the cart works all day without a break — you refuel in a minute and keep going. Lithium is quiet, efficient and low-maintenance, which is worth a lot around horses, provided you can charge where you park it. We stock both and will tell you straight which fits your setup.
Can you set a cart up for rough ground?
Yes. Tires, wheels, lift kits and seating can all be changed before you take delivery, and it’s far cheaper to do it while the cart is already in our shop. Tell us what your ground is actually like — sand, pasture, gravel — and we’ll spec it accordingly.
Do you have 4-passenger carts?
Our inventory rotates, and we regularly carry both 2-passenger and 4-passenger carts. Because every cart is one specific rebuilt unit rather than a stock model, the floor changes often — check the current inventory or call and tell us what you need and we’ll let you know what’s coming through.
