Who we are

Ideal Carts is a veteran-owned used golf cart dealership in Summerfield, Florida, serving The Villages, Ocala, Lady Lake, Belleview and the surrounding Central Florida communities. We have been rebuilding and selling carts since 2017.

This policy covers the website idealcartsinc.com and the information we collect through it. It also covers information you give us over the phone or by text in connection with the site. When this policy says “we,” “us” or “our,” it means Ideal Carts.

Our shop: 13315 S. US 441 N., Summerfield, FL 34491 · (352) 266-7016 · Open Monday–Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM, weekends by appointment.

02

Information you give us

Almost everything personal we hold, you handed to us on purpose. We do not require an account to browse this site, and we do not ask you to register for anything.

Contact and cart-offer forms

Our forms — the cash-offer form on the homepage and the full form on the Sell Your Golf Cart page — may ask for:

  • Your name
  • Your phone number
  • Your email address
  • Details about your golf cart: make, model, year, power type, condition, and whether it runs
  • Photos of your cart, if you choose to upload them
  • Anything else you type into a message or notes field

Form submissions are emailed to us so we can call or text you back with an offer or an answer. Phone number and name are required on the offer form because we cannot get back to you without them; everything else is your call.

Calls, texts and email

If you call, text or email us, we keep what you tell us and your contact details so we can follow up on your cart, your purchase or your service question.

Buying a cart

Our inventory pages are a catalog, not a checkout. We do not currently take payment or store card numbers on this website. When you actually buy a cart, that happens in person or by arrangement, and we collect what a vehicle sale requires — your name, contact details, and the paperwork needed to transfer the cart to you. Those records are kept as business records, not as website data.

Please don't send sensitive information through a web form. Never put a Social Security number, driver’s license number, bank account or card number into a message box on this site. If we need something like that for a sale, we will handle it in person.

03

Information collected automatically

Like nearly every website, ours records some technical information whenever a page loads. This happens through our hosting provider and through the analytics and advertising tools listed in Section 05. It typically includes:

  • Your IP address and the general area it maps to — usually city or region level, not a street address
  • Browser type, operating system, screen size, and whether you are on a phone, tablet or desktop
  • Which pages you viewed, in what order, how long you stayed, and where you scrolled or clicked
  • The site or ad that sent you to us, and search terms where the referring site passes them along
  • Dates and times of your visit

We use this to understand which carts get attention, which pages are confusing, whether our ads are working, and to keep the site fast and secure.

04

Cookies and similar technologies

Cookies are small files a site stores in your browser. This site and the tools we use set a few categories of them:

  • Necessary — keep the site working, remember your filter selections on the inventory page, and support caching and security.
  • Analytics — count visits and show us how people move through the site, so we can tell one visit from another.
  • Advertising — let Meta and Google recognize a browser that has been here before, so we can measure ad results and show follow-up ads.

The advertising and analytics tools also use related technologies such as tracking pixels, local storage and device identifiers, which do similar work to cookies. You can clear or block all of these in your browser settings — see Section 06.

05

Advertising and analytics tools we use

We would rather name these outright than bury them. Here is every third-party tag running on idealcartsinc.com, what it is for, and who operates it. Each one is run by an outside company under its own privacy policy, and each one receives some of the automatic information described in Section 03.

ToolStatusWhat it does & what it sees
Meta PixelMeta Platforms, Inc.
Facebook & Instagram
Active Measures whether our Facebook and Instagram ads actually bring people to the lot, and lets us show follow-up ads to people who viewed inventory. It records page views and actions on this site along with your IP address, browser and device details, and Meta cookies. If you are signed in to Facebook or Instagram in the same browser, Meta can connect your visit here to your account.
Zoho PageSenseZoho Corporation Active On-site behavior analytics. It builds heatmaps and scroll maps, runs page tests, and can capture session recordings showing how a visit moved through the site — clicks, scrolling and mouse movement. We use it to fix confusing pages, not to identify individuals. Because recordings capture on-page activity, please do not type sensitive details into any field on this site.
Google Search ConsoleGoogle LLC Active A single verification tag in our page code that proves to Google we own this domain. It does not set cookies and does not track you. It simply unlocks a Google dashboard showing us aggregate, anonymous search data — which search terms surfaced our pages and how often people clicked — drawn from Google’s own records, not from your browser.
Google Analytics 4
& Google Ads
Google LLC
Active Measures how this site is actually used, and which ads and search terms lead to real inquiries. It records pages viewed, time on page, approximate location from your IP address, device and browser details, referral source, and conversion events such as submitting a form or tapping our phone number. We link Analytics with Google Ads so we can measure which ads produce inquiries and show follow-up ads to people who have visited.

Each provider handles the data it receives under its own terms: Meta Privacy Policy, Zoho Privacy Policy, and Google Privacy Policy. These companies may combine what they see here with data they hold from other sites and services.

If we add or remove a tool, we will update this table and the date at the top of this page.

06

Your choices and opt-outs

You do not have to accept any of the tracking above. These all work, and none of them stop you from using the site or from buying a cart from us.

Turn it off in your browser

  • Block or clear cookies. Every major browser lets you block third-party cookies and delete existing ones in its privacy settings. This is the single most effective step.
  • Global Privacy Control. Browsers and extensions supporting GPC send an automatic opt-out signal. We honor it where the law requires us to.
  • Tracker blockers. Content blockers and private browsing modes will stop most or all of the tags in Section 05 from loading.

Turn it off at the source

  • Meta. Adjust what Facebook and Instagram use to target you in your Meta ad preferences.
  • Google. Control personalized ads at My Ad Center, or install the Google Analytics opt-out add-on to block Analytics on every site you visit.
  • Zoho. Blocking cookies or using a tracker blocker prevents PageSense from recording your session. See the Zoho Privacy Policy for their handling and contact details.
  • Industry-wide. Opt out of many advertising networks at once via the DAA or the NAI.

Stop hearing from us

If you asked us for an offer and would rather we did not follow up, tell us — reply to our text, say so on the phone, or call (352) 266-7016. We will stop, and we will delete your inquiry if you ask.

Note: Opting out of personalized advertising does not mean you stop seeing ads. It means the ones you see are less likely to be based on your visit here.

07

How we use your information

We use what we collect to:

  • Answer your question, quote a cart, or make you an offer on the one you are selling
  • Arrange a test drive, a pickup, a delivery or a service appointment
  • Complete a sale and keep the records a vehicle sale requires
  • Understand which carts and pages get attention, so we stock and write better
  • Measure whether our advertising is working, and reach people who have shown interest
  • Keep the site running, secure, and free of spam and fraudulent submissions
  • Meet our legal, tax and recordkeeping obligations

We do not use your information to make automated decisions about you, and we do not build profiles beyond what the advertising tools in Section 05 do on their own platforms.

08

How we share your information

We do not sell or rent your personal information. We share it only in these situations:

  • Service providers. Companies that run parts of our operation on our behalf — website hosting, email delivery, form handling, backups, and the analytics and advertising platforms in Section 05. They get only what they need to do their job.
  • Advertising and analytics platforms. As described in Section 05, Meta and Google receive site activity data directly from your browser through their tags.
  • Completing your transaction. If a sale, transfer, financing or titling requires it, we share what that specific process needs — for example with a lender you chose or a state titling authority.
  • Legal reasons. If we are required by law, subpoena or court order, or where we need to protect our rights, our property, or someone’s safety.
  • Business transfer. If Ideal Carts is ever sold or merged, customer records may transfer as part of that business. Any buyer would remain bound by this policy for information collected under it.
09

How long we keep it

We keep inquiries and cart-offer submissions for as long as we may reasonably need them to follow up or to answer a later question about a cart we bought or sold. Sale and service records are kept as long as our tax, warranty and legal obligations require.

Analytics and advertising data is kept according to each provider’s own retention schedule, which we do not control. If you would like us to delete your inquiry, ask us and we will — see Section 12.

10

Security

This site is served over an encrypted HTTPS connection, and we use reputable hosting with access controls and regular backups. Access to form submissions is limited to the people at Ideal Carts who need it to respond to you.

That said, no website or email system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee that information sent over the internet is protected against every possible interception. That is the honest answer, and it is why we ask you not to send sensitive numbers through the forms on this site.

11

Children’s privacy

This site is meant for adults shopping for golf carts. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has sent us information, call us at (352) 266-7016 and we will delete it.

12

Your rights and third-party links

Asking us about your information

Whatever state you live in, you are welcome to contact us and ask what we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We will do our best to honor reasonable requests, and we may need to verify who you are first. Some information we have to keep — completed sale and tax records, for instance — even after a deletion request.

Depending on where you live, you may also have specific legal rights over your personal information, including the right to know what is collected, to have it deleted, to correct it, and to opt out of targeted advertising. To exercise any of these, use the contact details at the bottom of this page. We will not treat you differently for asking.

Links to other sites

Our pages link to places we do not control — Google Maps, our social profiles, manufacturer information and similar. Once you follow one of those links you are on their site, under their privacy policy, not ours. We are not responsible for how they handle your information.

13

Changes to this policy

We will update this page when our practices change — for example if we add, replace or drop a tool listed in Section 05. The “last updated” date at the top of the page always reflects the current version. Material changes will be posted here before they take effect. Continuing to use the site after an update means you accept the revised policy.

Questions about your privacy?

Ask a real person. If you want to know what we have on file, want it deleted, or just want to understand something on this page, call or text Danny and he will sort it out.
